Who We Are

This site and product are operated by Northvane LLC, a California limited liability company, 1600 E. 4th Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701.

The Short Version

The Deadnet USB product collects zero data. It runs entirely offline. Your questions and conversations are never logged, stored, or transmitted anywhere. When you shut down Deadnet, your session is erased.

Website (deadnet.dev)

This website uses Stripe for payment processing. When you make a purchase, Stripe collects your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information to process your order. We receive your name, email, and shipping address to fulfill your order. We do not store payment card details.

This website does not use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tracking tools. We self-host our fonts and do not load resources from third-party CDNs.

This site is hosted on Vercel. As with any web hosting provider, Vercel receives standard server logs as part of normal hosting operation, including visitor IP addresses, in order to serve the site and protect against abuse.

The Deadnet USB Product

The Deadnet USB drive operates entirely offline. It has no network capability and cannot connect to the internet. Specifically:

• • No data is transmitted from the USB to any server.
• • No usage data, query logs, or analytics are collected.
• • Conversation history exists only in temporary memory and is erased on shutdown.
• • No user accounts or profiles are created.
• • No automatic updates or phone-home mechanisms exist.

Order Information

We retain order information (name, email, shipping address, order date) for customer support and legal compliance purposes. We do not sell or share this information with third parties except as required for shipping fulfillment.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. We do not currently respond differently to DNT signals because this site does not use the analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or other tracking technologies that DNT signals are designed to govern — as described above, we simply don't track you in the first place.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may request access to, or deletion of, the personal information we hold about them by contacting support@deadnet.dev.

How We Notify You of Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes that affect beta users, we will also send notice by email.
