Deadnet is offered by Northvane LLC, a California limited liability company, 1600 E. 4th Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701 ("Deadnet", "we", "us").

1. Product Description

Deadnet is a physical 32GB USB 3.2 drive containing pre-installed software and digital content including local AI models and a curated knowledge base. The product is designed to operate without an internet connection on compatible computers (Windows 10+, macOS 11+ on Apple Silicon — M1 through M4, Ubuntu 20.04+) with at least 8GB of RAM (16GB recommended). Intel Macs are not supported.

2. Beta Program and Pricing

Deadnet is currently in a closed beta. There is no purchase price during the beta period. Drives are distributed at no cost to accepted beta testers in exchange for product feedback and bug reports. Acceptance is at our sole discretion. Beta drives are shipped within the United States only. When Deadnet officially launches, paid pricing will be published here and beta testers will be notified in advance.

3. Shipping

Accepted beta requests are assembled, tested, and shipped within 2-3 business days. Standard shipping within the United States is 5-7 business days. We currently ship within the United States only.

4. Disclaimer

Deadnet is an informational tool for emergency preparedness and education. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, legal counsel, or emergency services. The information provided by the AI is derived from published government and military documents and is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Always seek professional help in genuine emergencies.

5. Intellectual Property

The Deadnet software, knowledge base curation, and AI configuration are proprietary. Source documents included on the drive (military field manuals, government publications) are public domain or used under applicable licenses. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the Deadnet software or its assembled content.

6. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from following any information provided by the AI system.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the product shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
